      A new chapter in the history of Healthwise

       

      As a private 501(c)3 nonprofit company formed in 1975, we met our mission by creating the most trusted health education materials available, first in print, and later in digital, video and other formats. 

       

      In 2024, the Healthwise brand and operating assets were bought by WebMD Ignite, a leading consumer health information provider. Funded by the sale, Eyes on Health operates independently of WebMD Ignite.​
